three's company

how bad is it to invite people to join you on your honeymoon? after all, my parents went to a church music camp for their honeymoon, not too much "us" time there. i'm hoping our old exchange students Nicole and Rebekka will accompany us in Austria and Switzerland, respectively, as my german is really only to the Deunglish level. also, we're thinking two of our college friends might join us for our last week in Rome. We're going to be in Europe for a month, maybe by the end we'll need somebody to divert our attentions away from each other ;) besides we'll have the rest of our lives to be alone together.

The Passport Problem

So we have some questions that we'll get answered as soon as we get a little less lazy and look it up. As we're planning on leaving our precious homeland well will probably be required to pick up some paper work before we can get out, so we can get back in. But as Bethany's last name is about to become 10 characters longer, we are a bit confused about the proper procedure for getting her up to date visa. Many people have done this before us, so there must be a procedure of some sort for us to follow... Well hopefully.
Anyways, that is one thing yet to figure out before crossing the big blue. That, and I need a visa too. But luckily, because of thousands of years of a male dominate society, I won't be having as many issues with mine as Bethany will. Hopefully...

If Europe is still an option...

Well to jump on the political bandwagon, I must admit that after the election I have some fears that by next year Europeans might not take too kindly to stupid American pig-dogs.
If tensions continue to rise between the USA and other countries will Europe be safe for us to travel to?
Well, we'll find out soon enough. At least, if hell does break loose and a war of the worlds begins, at least we'll still be able to blame Bush for it.

Also, the Daily Show will now have 4 more years of new material, and thats a good thing.
